This pre-owned Bontrager Aeolus Elite 35 TLR Disc wheelset is a full-carbon, tubeless-ready road wheelset for disc brake bikes. It comes set up with a SRAM XDR freehub and a pair of Vittoria Rubino Pro TLR 28c tyres. As a result, you get a proven carbon upgrade, ready to ride, at a fraction of the R18,700 new price for the wheels alone.

Why choose a pre-owned Aeolus Elite 35?

First, the 35 mm deep OCLV Carbon rims give you a good balance of low weight, stiffness and aero speed. Next, the rims are tubeless ready, so you can run lower pressures with fewer punctures. The 19.5 mm inner rim width also suits modern 28c tyres well. In addition, the Centre Lock disc hubs and 12 mm thru-axles fit most current disc road and endurance bikes.

Will this wheelset fit my bike?

It suits disc brake road and gravel bikes with 12 mm thru-axles. Since it has an XDR freehub, it takes SRAM 12-speed road cassettes such as Force and Red AXS. However, it will not take a Shimano cassette without a different freehub body. Not sure? Send us your bike model and we will check it for you.
