This pre-owned carbon tubular wheelset 50mm deep suits rim-brake road bikes. Better still, it comes with tubular tyres already fitted. So you can bolt it on and race.

Remote Warehouse Bikes
For bikes stored in our remote warehouses, please allow 1-2 days for preparation before they are shipped. Delivery will then take an additional 2-3 days, depending on your location. We will advise on the exact delivery times once your order is received and the warehouse is confirmed.

Why choose a carbon tubular wheelset 50mm deep?
First, tubular rims don’t need a hook bed, so they are lighter than clincher rims of the same depth. As a result, the wheels spin up quickly and feel lively on climbs and sprints. In addition, the 50mm depth cheats the wind on flat roads and in time trials. At the same time, it stays manageable in crosswinds for most riders.
Tubular tyres also give a smooth, supple ride. Moreover, they let you run lower pressures with less risk of pinch flats. Many riders therefore still choose tubulars for racing, triathlon and fast group rides.
Before you buy
- Brakes: These are rim-brake wheels, so your bike needs rim brakes, not discs.
- Brake pads: Use carbon-specific brake pads to protect the braking surface.
- Freehub: Check that the freehub matches your cassette before you fit it.
- Tyres: The set comes with tubular tyres fitted.
