Description

The Extreme XT is a high-performance cross-country and marathon shoe. It uses a stiff carbon-reinforced sole and dual SLW3 dials. The supportive upper breathes well on long days of racing.

Northwave Extreme XT Grey/Sand: key features

Every current Northwave shoe starts with a stiff, supportive sole. The dial closure then lets you fine-tune tension while you ride. The sole takes 2-bolt SPD-style cleats. That covers Shimano SPD, Crankbrothers, Time ATAC and most other off-road pedals. In addition, the upper breathes well in South African summer heat, yet it still holds your heel firmly in place. Northwave sizing runs close to true to size. If you have a wide forefoot, ask us about the wide-fit models in the range instead. The Grey/Sand finish in the listing title is the colour you will receive.

Sizing and fit

We list every size that Northwave currently supplies in South Africa, from EU 39.5 up to EU 47. Half sizes appear where Northwave makes them. First, choose your size from the drop-down above. The listing then shows whether the distributor has that size in stock and how many pairs they hold. Not sure of your size? Our Gqeberha shop keeps Northwave shoes on the shelf for fitting. Our workshop can also fit your cleats and pedals once the shoes arrive, so you get the most out of the Extreme XT from the first ride.
