Description

The Striker Wide keeps the twin SLW3 dials, stiff 2-bolt sole and breathable upper of the Striker. Northwave builds it on a wider last for riders who need extra forefoot room.

Northwave Striker Wide Black/Light Grey: key features

Every current Northwave shoe starts with a stiff, supportive sole. The dial closure then lets you fine-tune tension while you ride. The sole takes 2-bolt SPD-style cleats. That covers Shimano SPD, Crankbrothers, Time ATAC and most other off-road pedals. In addition, the upper breathes well in South African summer heat, yet it still holds your heel firmly in place. This is the wide-fit version of the shoe. It adds room across the forefoot and toe box, so it suits riders who find standard cycling shoes too narrow. The Black/Light Grey finish in the listing title is the colour you will receive.

Sizing and fit

We list every size that Northwave currently supplies in South Africa, from EU 39 up to EU 46. Half sizes appear where Northwave makes them. First, choose your size from the drop-down above. The listing then shows whether the distributor has that size in stock and how many pairs they hold. Not sure of your size? Our Gqeberha shop keeps Northwave shoes on the shelf for fitting. Our workshop can also fit your cleats and pedals once the shoes arrive, so you get the most out of the Striker Wide from the first ride.
