The SRAM S500 Eagle AXS upgrade kit turns a cable-shifted Eagle 12-speed mountain bike into a wireless AXS bike, without buying a full groupset.
RRP: R12,250 (incl. VAT)
Why choose the SRAM S500 Eagle AXS upgrade kit?
Cables stretch, collect dirt and need adjusting. In contrast, AXS shifting stays crisp because there is no cable at all. You simply press the Pod and the derailleur shifts.
The S500 derailleur has a Type 3 cage damper, so it holds the chain tight and keeps the bike quiet on rough descents. In addition, you can set up the Pod buttons the way you like in the SRAM AXS app.
SRAM S500 Eagle AXS upgrade kit contents
- S500 Eagle AXS rear derailleur with protector
- AXS battery
- AXS Pod Controller with discrete clamp
- Eagle PowerLock chain connector
- USB-C charger (cord not included)
- Chain gap tool
Good to know
This kit works with Eagle 12-speed cassettes of 50t or 52t, which are sold separately. Your existing Eagle chain and crankset stay on the bike. However, it is not for T-Type Transmission drivetrains. If you are not sure, ask us and we will check your bike.
