The Rail+ 9.8 is a carbon enduro e-MTB made for chasing after distant peaks and hammering out laps. With 160 mm front and rear travel, it’s ready to rip through the rough, and it’s backed by a powerful Bosch Performance CX drive system that makes long climbs and fast laps a breeze. It packs in adjustable geometry that lets you customise your bike for how and where you ride, a massive battery that keeps you going lap after lap, and a SRAM GX AXS wireless transmission for crisp shifts under load.
It’s right for you if…
You chase big rides with even bigger terrain and need an e-bike that can keep up. You want plenty of suspension for gobbling up roots and rocks and a full-assist motor that doesn’t wallow on punchy climbs. The tech you get
An OCLV Mountain Carbon frame with Bosch Performance CX system (85 Nm, 250 W) and a massive 800 Wh RIB 2.0 removable integrated battery. A 160 mm RockShox ZEB Select+ fork with DebonAir spring and Charger 3 RC2 damper, and RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ rear shock. Tubeless Ready Bontrager Line Comp 30 wheels, a wireless SRAM GX AXS transmission, 4-piston SRAM CODE Bronze hydraulic disc brakes and an internally-routed dropper post.

Bosch Performance Line CX motor
The Bosch Performance Line CX sets the standard for eMTB performance with up to 85 Nm of torque and an intelligent eMTB mode with Extended Boost that automatically adjusts the amount of assist based on the terrain.
New RIB 2.0
Removable Integrated Battery (RIB 2.0) makes it easy to remove your battery for more convenient charging or travelling, and you don’t have to worry about dropping it thanks to a secondary safety catch.
Mixed wheel size
You get a 29″ front wheel for monster truckin’ over stuff, with a smaller 27.5″ wheel out back for getting rowdy.
Adjust the suss for full send
Adjust the leverage rate with just a flip of a chip. Ride it in the Less progressive setting for a plusher feel perfect for rugged trails with square-edge bumps. Flip it to More progressive when you’re hitting big features and don’t want to bottom-out, or when you want to run a coil shock.
Transition to transmission
The SRAM Eagle T-Type transmission mounts directly to the frame, skipping that pesky derailleur hanger of yesteryear. This makes for a more robust system that’s not only cleaner-looking, it’s also more precise under load and easier to set up.
Bosch System Controller
The System Controller gives you a quick overview of your assist mode and battery level without distracting you from the ride. It’s integrated into the top tube so it’s out of the way but still easy to see with LED indicators. It also connects to the eBike Flow app via Bluetooth for accessing ride stats and performing system updates.
Active Braking Pivot
Active Braking Pivot allows our engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently. That means you get more confident control when you need it most.
