Trek Top Fuel AL Custom Build
The Trek Top Fuel AL is an aluminium full suspension mountain bike designed for riders who want a seriously fast, seriously fun trail and cross-country machine. Built around Trek’s versatile Top Fuel platform, this custom build is ideal for shredding singletrack, flowing through fast trails and tackling technical terrain with confidence.
The frame is made from Alpha Platinum Aluminium and features Trek’s proven suspension design, including ABP, Mino Link adjustable geometry and Boost148 rear spacing. With 120mm of rear travel, internal guided cable routing, internal frame storage, Knock Block 2.0 and a downtube guard, the Top Fuel AL frame delivers modern trail-bike performance in a practical and durable aluminium package.
Suspension is handled by a Fox Performance Float DPS rear shock with a 3-position damper and a RockShox Reba 120mm 29” Boost fork with manual lockout. This combination provides efficient climbing support with enough control and comfort for rougher trails and longer mountain bike rides.
The bike rolls on Bontrager Kovee 25 29” rims with Shimano Boost hubs and Kenda Regolith 29 x 2.6 SCT tubeless tyres, giving it excellent traction, stability and confidence over loose or technical terrain. A Shimano SLX M7100 12-speed drivetrain delivers smooth, reliable shifting, while SRAM DB8 hydraulic disc brakes provide powerful and consistent braking control.
