Working on a bike that is leaning against a wall is slow and awkward. In contrast, this repair stand clamps the bike firmly and lets you spin the cranks and shift through the gears while you work. As a result, jobs like indexing gears, cleaning a chain or truing brakes become quick and easy.
The clamp head rotates through 360 degrees, so you can turn the bike to reach any part of it. The height adjusts from 108 cm to 180 cm with quick-release levers. Therefore you can set it to suit your height and the job in hand. It holds up to 30 kg, which covers road, gravel and mountain bikes.
A four-leg base with anti-slip feet keeps the stand steady. In addition, a multi-functional tool tray keeps your tools close at hand. When you are done, the legs fold up so the stand packs away into a corner or the boot of a car.

How to use it
First, spread the legs and lock them. Next, raise the stand to working height and tighten the quick-release levers. Then clamp the bike by the seatpost, not the frame tubes, to protect carbon and thin-walled frames. Finally, fit the handlebar stabilising pole to stop the front wheel from turning while you work.
Good to know
This stand is ideal for the home mechanic. However, heavy e-bikes can exceed the 30 kg limit, so check your bike’s weight first. Bike and tools shown in the pictures are not included.
