Why choose the SILCA Chain Stripper?
Factory grease must be fully removed before wax will stick, and that usually takes several solvents. Instead, this cleaner lifts and traps grease and oil so it rinses away with water. It also primes the metal, so the wax bonds better. As a result, chains prepped this way can hold their wax up to 30% longer. It is highly concentrated and biodegradable.

How to use it
For hot waxing, soak a new chain for five to ten minutes, agitating at the start and end. Rinse with water and drop it straight into the hot wax. Alternatively, for drip wax on the bike, apply one drop per roller, wait five minutes, repeat once and then rinse while backpedalling.
Good to know
A clean chain is the key to low friction. For the best results, start with a properly cleaned chain, re-apply before it runs dry, and keep a note of the distance between treatments so you learn what works for your riding.
