Why choose the SILCA chain waxing system?
Everything you need comes in one box: a wax warmer, a drip stand and a cable coupler. The warmer has a vented clear lid, so it holds heat while you check that the wax is fully melted. The drip stand lets excess wax run straight back into the pot for next time. In addition, the notched base holds the warmer and coupler securely. This model is supplied with a South African plug.

How to use it
Melt SILCA Secret Chain Blend in the warmer. For a new chain, add a StripChip piece and skip the degreasing step. Thread the steel coupler cable through the chain, dip it, agitate and hang it on the stand to drip dry. As a result, you never touch the hot wax or make a mess.
Good to know
A clean chain is the key to low friction. For the best results, start with a properly cleaned chain, re-apply before it runs dry, and keep a note of the distance between treatments so you learn what works for your riding.
