Why choose the SILCA wax starter pack?
The pack pairs SILCA Chain Stripper with Super Secret drip wax. The biggest hurdle to waxing is stripping the factory grease so the wax will stick. Chain Stripper solves this, because it lifts grease away with water and primes the metal for wax. Super Secret then gives you hot-wax performance from a bottle. As a result, you can wax a chain on the bike in under an hour.

How to use it
Apply one drop of Chain Stripper per roller while backpedalling. Wait five minutes, repeat, and then rinse with water. Once the chain is dry, apply Super Secret one drop per roller and let it dry for a few hours before riding.
Good to know
A clean chain is the key to low friction. For the best results, start with a properly cleaned chain, re-apply before it runs dry, and keep a note of the distance between treatments so you learn what works for your riding.
