Go fully fat with the Southbound Oryx Gen 5 in Starry Night – South Africa’s favourite fat-tyre e-bike and the 4×4 of e-bikes. It is powerful on the climbs, ploughs through mud and floats over soft sand. The Gen 5 runs a complete Bafang system – H550 motor, controller, display and torque sensor – with a 9-speed Shimano Altus drivetrain and a rust-resistant KMC chain. Puncture-proof Tannus tyre liners come fitted, and a rear rack is standard, ready for Southbound’s range of functional accessories.
