Why choose the SILCA Hold Fast paste?
It was first made for the pro mechanics of Visma | Lease a Bike. Most carbon pastes use a dyed grease base that stains clothing and feels slippery. Instead, Hold Fast uses a clean, high-tack silicone carrier that stays in place and wipes clean. It increases friction, so you can use lower clamping torque. As a result, there is less risk of slipping or damaging carbon parts.

How to use it
Clean both surfaces first. Apply a thin layer to the seatpost, stem or bar clamp area. Then assemble and tighten to the recommended torque with a torque wrench. Wipe away any excess.
Good to know
Good tools protect your bike as well as your time. For the best results, use the right size tool for each bolt, follow the maker’s torque settings, and keep your tools clean and dry after use.
